10 troubling questions

1)      When we had a vote to authorize military action on Iraq, it was wrong.   But when we don’t have a vote on it?  Or even a real debate on a war in Libya—it’s okay?
2)      Is this purely a war fought on humanitarian grounds?
3)      If no, what are the interests of the United States in Libya?
4)      If our interests are oil, okay…but are you suddenly okay with war for oil?
5)      If humanitarian reasons are enough by themselves, will you promise to never bring up WMD’s in Iraq again?
6)      Do you disagree with this quote:   “The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.”/ Or is Libya an “imminent threat” to us?  [By the way, that quote was from:  Barack Obama December 20, 2007]
7)      If things go badly, and Gadhafi holds power for a while, do we escalate things?  Or are we allowing in our war plan for the real possibility of failure?
8)      If the idea is to stop the brutalization of civilians—why not Sudan? Congo? Syria? Fill in awful situation around the world…
9)      Is it okay for Gadhafi to remain in power as the administration has hinted?  And if so, and Gadhafi goes back to killing a few months after we leave—are we going back in?
10)   How does it feel to have elected a president who is now managing 50% more wars than George W. Bush?  A president who has launched a new war with a coalition half the size?

YouTube biased???

perhaps... maybe so

the video that YouTube wants to remove is one of the scariest I've seen.... the missiles intended to be lobbed against Israel are horrifying.

Perhaps the action or lack of in Libya is a DIVERSION to take attention away from this action.

The IDF  (Israeli Defense Force or Israeli Army) has a video  on U Tube
explaining what's going on, but U Tube wants to remove it by using
the excuse as not too many people are logging in.

Please share this, so many people will log in and  the IDF will be able to have its voice heard. Thanks

Palin: Why are Israelis 'apologizing'?

JERUSALEM (UPI) -- Former U.S. vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin suggested as she toured Jerusalem's Western Wall that Israelis were too conciliatory toward Arab concerns.

"Why are you apologizing all the time?" Palin asked her guides after being told Jews were not allowed to pray openly at the Temple Mount and about Arab riots that followed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's opening of an exit from its tunnels in 1996.

Israel enforces a controversial ban on prayer at the Temple Mount by non-Muslim visitors.

The Jerusalem Post, which quoted Palin asking the question, did not report what Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitz and conservative Israeli lawmaker Danny Danon said in response.

"She didn't go into diplomatic issues, but I can clearly say from the questions she asked in relation to our conflict here with the Muslims in these holy sites that she knows that we are right and that the Muslims are just claiming things for provocation and they're not right," the Post quoted Danon as saying.

Palin -- the subject of speculation that she may try for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012 -- described herself in a 2008 interview as a "Bible-believing Christian."

The issue of public prayer is touchy at the Temple Mount because the site is holy to both Jews and Muslims. It is known by Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary.

Traditional Judaism regards the Temple Mount as the site where God chose the "divine presence" to rest, where the world expanded into its present form and where God gathered the dust used to create the first man, Adam.

It is also where the two ancient Jewish Temples were built. The Western Wall is a remnant of an ancient wall that surrounded the Temple's courtyard and is one of the most sacred sites in Judaism outside of the Temple Mount itself.

Among Sunni Muslims, the Noble Sanctuary is considered the third-holiest site in Islam, the location of the Prophet Mohammed's journey to Jerusalem and ascent to heaven.

It is also the home of the al-Aqsa Mosque and Dome of the Rock Islamic shrine, dating from the year 691.

The dome, built when Muslims controlled Jerusalem, sits at or near where the Bible mandates the Temple be rebuilt, traditional Jews say.

"I'm so thankful to be able to be here and I'm thankful to know the Israel-American connection will grow and strengthen as the peace negotiations continue," Palin told reporters during her Sunday evening Western Wall tour.

She and her husband Todd had dinner with Netanyahu and his wife Sara at the Netanyahus' Jerusalem home Monday. The dinner was closed to the media and Netanyahu's office offered no immediate statement about it.

Truth

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way you can understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out, we have a lot of work to do.

"The danger to America is not Barrack Obama but a citizenry capable
of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier
to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the
necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to
have such a man for their president.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barrack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

You could have heard a pin drop.

At a time when our president and other politicians tend to apologize for our country's prior actions, here's a refresher on how some of our former patriots handled negative comments about our country.

JFK'S
Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in  France  in the early 60's when
DeGaulle decided to pull out of NATO.  DeGaulle said he wanted all US
military out of France as soon as possible.

Rusk responded, "Does that include those who are buried here?"

DeGaulle
did not respond.

When in  England  ,at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the
Archbishop of Canterbury  if our plans for  Iraq  were just an example of
'empire building' by George Bush.

He answered by saying,
"Over the years, the United States has sent many of
its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom
beyond our borders.  The only amount of land we have ever asked for
in return is enough to bury those that did not
return."

There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers
were taking part, including French and American.  During a break,
one of the French engineers came back into the room saying, "Have you
heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft
carrier to  Indonesia  to help the tsunami victims.  What does he
intend to do, bomb them?"

A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly:  "Our carriers have three
hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are
nuclear powered and can supply emergency  electrical power to
shore facilities; they have three  cafeterias with the capacity to
feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand
gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a
dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and
from their flight deck.
We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?"

A  U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included
Admirals from the U.S., English, Canadian, Australian and French
Navies  At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large
group of officers that included personnel from most of those countries.
Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a
French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many
languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, "Why is it that
we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than
speaking French?"

Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied, "Maybe it's because the
Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't
have to speak German."

AND
THIS STORY FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE ABOVE...

Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane.

At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport
in his carry on.

"You
have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked
 sarcastically.

Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France
previously.

"Then
you should know enough to have your passport ready."

The American said, "The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it."

"Impossible..
Americans always have to show their passports on arrival in France !"

The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look.  Then he
quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at  Omaha Beach  on D-Day in
1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen
to show a passport to."

Hung by our own ropes?

Kruschev announced that Communism would hang the last capitalist with the rope they had sold them.  He meant that we are too willing to accommodate our enemies by being 'nice' and playing by the rules when they do not.

try this one on for size.... and those who believe in multiculturalism need to be the first to be flogged.

The Islamic Demolition of the Statue of Liberty

One of the founding principles of the Islamic constitution is to ensure that all sovereignty and supremacy belongs solely to God; the Shari’ah is a practical manifestation of this sovereignty and supremacy because it seeks to establish His command in society.
The status of a nation subsequently does not depend on its number, strength or technological advancement, but rather how much it submits to the commands of God. When a nation seeks to be free from such commands, then ultimately it will meet its destruction.
The Statue of Liberty, designed by Frederic Bartholdi, stands on Liberty Island in New York Harbor; representing Libertas, the Roman (false) goddess of Freedom, it is symbolic of the rebellious nature of the US constitution that elevates the command of man over the command of God.
In Islam, the public veneration of idols and statues is strictly prohibited. This has forced sincere Muslims to develop realistic plans that will aid in the removal of the Statue of Liberty.
Due to the scale of the task at hand, it is highly likely that rigorous safety checks will need to be employed before the demolition of the Statue of Liberty can commence; thus as a temporary measure, it is proposed that a large burkha is used to cover the statue, thereby shielding this horrendous eye sore from public view as well as sending a strong message to its French creators.
Post demolition, it is recommended that a minaret be built as a fitting replacement, allowing the glorification of God to be proclaimed daily as well as act as a powerful reminder of the superiority of Islam over all other ways of life.

but would it pollute????

Q: What do you call a thousand liberals at the bottom of the sea?
A: A good start

OOPS !

OOPS  ! but WHY are Muslims SO sensitive?????  A realization that they ARE not the end all and be all they think they are?

This  brand spanking new Airbus 340-600, the largest passenger  airplane ever built, sits just outside its hangar in Toulouse, France without a single hour of  airtime.

Enter the Arab flight  crew of Abu Dhabi
Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) to  conduct pre-delivery tests on the ground, such as engine  run-ups, prior to delivery to Etihad Airways in Abu  Dhabi .

The ADAT crew taxied the  A340-600 to the run-up  area.

Then  they took all four engines to takeoff power with a  virtually empty aircraft. Not having read the run-up  manuals, they had no clue just how light an empty  A340-600 really  is.

The  takeoff warning horn was blaring away in the cockpit because they had All 4 engines at full  power. The aircraft computers  thought they were  trying to take off, but it had not been configured  properly (flaps/slats, etc.)

Then one of the ADAT crew  decided to pull the circuit breaker on the Ground  Proximity Sensor to silence the alarm. This fools the  aircraft into thinking it is in the air. The computers  automatically released all the  brakes and set the  aircraft rocketing  forward.

The ADAT crew had no idea  that this is a  safety feature so that pilots can't  land with the brakes on.

Not one member of  the seven-man Arab crew was smart enough to throttle  back the engines from their max power setting, so the  $200 million brand-new aircraft crashed into a blast  barrier, totaling it.

The extent of  injuries to the crew is unknown due to the news blackout  in the major media in France and elsewhere.   Because........

Coverage of the story was  deemed insulting to Muslim Arabs.

Finally, the photos are  starting to leak out.
.
One French Airbus:    $200 million dollars
Untrained Arab  Flight Crew:  $300,000 Yearly  Salary
 Unread Operating Manual:   $300
Aircraft meets retaining wall and  the wall wins.
 PRICELESS!!!

"And  that's why God gave them camels"!
