Nation of Lawyers???? and you know what is said if you want a perfect country.

The Democratic Party has become the Lawyers Party . 
Barack Obama is a lawyer. Michelle Obama is a lawyer. 
Hillary Clinton is a lawyer. Bill Clinton is a lawyer. (well he has been disbarred)
John Edwards is a lawyer. Elizabeth Edwards was a lawyer. 
Every Democrat nominee since 1984 went to law school (although Gore did not graduate and got Ds in science). 
Every Democrat vice presidential nominee since 1976, except for Lloyd Bentsen, went to law school. 
Look at leaders of the Democrat Party in Congress: 
Harry Reid is a lawyer and always on the government payroll). Nancy Pelosi is a lawyer same for Pelosi. don't you wonder if they could ever really win a case?


The Republican Party is different. 
President G.W. Bush is a businessman. 
Vice President Dick Cheney is a businessman. 
The leaders of the Republican Revolution: 
Newt Gingrich was a history professor. 
Tom Delay was an exterminator. Dick Armey was an economist. 
House Minority Leader Boehner was a plastic manufacturer. 
The former Senate Majority Leader Bill First is a heart surgeon. 

Who was the last Republican president who was a lawyer? Gerald Ford, who left office 31 years ago and who barely won the Republican nomination as a sitting president, running against Ronald Reagan in 1976. 

The Republican Party is made up of real people doing real work, who are often the targets of lawyers. 

The Democrat Party is made up of lawyers. Democrats mock and scorn men who create wealth, like Bush and Cheney, or who heal the sick, like Frist, or who immerse themselves in history, like Gingrich. 

The Lawyers Party sees these sorts of people, who provide goods and services that people want, as the enemies of America . And, so we have seen the procession of official enemies, in the eyes of the Lawyers Party, grow. 

Against whom do Hillary and Obama rail? Pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, hospitals, manufacturers, fast food restaurant chains, large retail businesses, bankers, and anyone producing anything of value in our nation. 

This is the natural consequence of viewing everything through the eyes of lawyers. Lawyers solve problems by successfully representing their clients, in this case the American people. 

Lawyers seek to have new laws passed, they seek to win lawsuits, they press appellate courts to overturn precedent, and lawyers always parse language to favor their side. 

Confined to the narrow practice of law, that is fine. But it is an awful way to govern a great nation. When politicians as lawyers begin to view some Americans as clients and other Americans as opposing parties, then the role of the legal system in our life becomes all-consuming. Some Americans become adverse parties of  our very government. 


We are not all litigants in some vast social  class-action suit. We are citizens of a republic that promises us a great deal of freedom from laws, from courts, and from lawyers. 

Today, we are drowning in laws; we are contorted by judicial decisions; we are driven to distraction by omnipresent lawyers in all parts of our once private lives. America has a place for laws and lawyers, but that place is modest and reasonable, not vast and unchecked. When the most important decision for our next president is whom he will appoint to the Supreme Court, the role of lawyers and the law in America is too big. 


** When House Democrats sue America in order to hamstring our efforts to learn what our enemies are planning to do to us, then the role of litigation in America has become crushing. 


We cannot expect the Lawyers Party to provide real change, real reform or real hope in America Most Americans know that a republic in which every major government action must be blessed by nine unelected judges is not what Washington intended in 1789. Most Americans grasp that we cannot fight a war when ACLU lawsuits snap at the heels of our defenders. Most Americans intuit that more lawyers and judges will not restore declining moral values or spark the spirit of enterprise in our economy. 

Perhaps Americans will understand that change cannot be brought to our nation by those lawyers who already largely dictate American society and business. 


Perhaps Americans will see that hope does not come from the mouths of lawyers but from personal dreams nourished by hard work. Perhaps Americans will embrace the truth that more lawyers with more power will only make our problems worse. 
The United States has 5% of the worlds population and 66% of the worlds lawyers! 


Tort (Legal) reform legislation has been introduced in congress several times in the last several years to limit punitive damages in ridiculous lawsuits such as spilling hot coffee on yourself and suing the establishment that sold it to you and also to limit punitive damages in huge medical malpractice lawsuits. 


This legislation has continually been blocked from even being voted on by the Democrat Party. 


When you see that 97% of the political contributions from the American Trial Lawyers Association goes to the Democrat Party, then you realize who is responsible for our medical and product costs being so high! 

40 Communist Goals for America

At Mrs. Nordman's request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following "Current Communist Goals," which she identifies as an excerpt from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen:.

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative toatomic war.  [Some of these goals have become policy.]

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war. [Surrendering without a fight]

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament of the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites. [Use our own taxes to achieve these self-destructive goals!]

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China.  Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the US has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind.  If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.  (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow.  Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.    [ Judges (#16) and elected officials (#15) who destroy the Constitution can be charged with perjury but after that the only charge left is treason.]

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office. [surrender US ingenuity & void all protections.]

'15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. [ These Congressmen, McCain(R-AR) Feingold(D-WI); Shays(R-CT) Meehan (D-MA), & their advisors via campaign finance reform would cripple the 1st Amendment's free speech & undermine the US Constitution!]  [ 40,000,000 abortions have killed more American children than all wars combined!]

-19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums.  "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art." [NEA]

'24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.  [ACLU & ALA in public & school libraries encourage obscenity to harm our children.][Schools should not be free speech zones.]

'26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy." [Condom & prostitution based Sex Ed. vs. abstinence which is ALWAYS 100%  effective.] [Who needs biological warfare agents when deadly plagues like  HIV-AIDs & incurable STD's are so easy to proliferate, so easy to destroy physically, mentally & spiritually.] [ diversity = perversity.]

'27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion.  Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch." [i.e. destroy God's vision for his children.]

-28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state." [ This was a reality after the Court perjurously invented the "separation of church and state" in Everson v Bd. Ed 1947. Note: Engel v. Vitale, 82 S. Ct.1261 (1962)  & Schempp, 374 U.S. 203 (1963), see (#16)]^_c.  , ^_d.

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers.  Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

-31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture."  Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. [#29 & #30]

-32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.  [ e.g. the unconstitutional Federal Dept. of Education, funding, et. al.]

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.  [Make anti-American, white collar terrorism & perjury OK!]

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

-42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use united force to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike." ^_e.

The percentage of each past president's cabinet who had  worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to  the cabinet.  You know what the private business sector  is�a real-life business, not a  government job.  Here are the percentages.

 That's right!  Only  eight percent---the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents!   And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to  run their  business?  They know what's best for  GM, Chrysler, Wall Street, and you and me !!!
 How can the president of a major nation and  society, the one with the most successful economic system in world  history, stand and talk about business when he's never worked for  one?  Or about jobs when he has never really had one?  And  when it's the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest  advisers?  They've spent most of their time in academia,  government  and/or non-profit jobs or as "community  organizers." They should have been in an employment  line.

Health Care in Socialized Medicine English-Speaking Countries

This was true when I was in England in '99.  The newspapers were filled with stories of women, young mothers especially, who had delays in getting the care needed which essentially assured their deaths. This is NOT an alarmist message other than we have an administration that thinks this is a really good idea for the US.



  A recent "Investor's  Business Daily" article provided very interesting statistics from a  survey by the United Nations International Health  Organization.

Anyone still think "Obamacare" a good idea?  And remember, the 'improvement' to Medicare according to the current administration is to roll it over into the Obamacare program.... and then they get a hissy fit when someone points out that Medicare needs to be restructured so that it WILL last.


Hmmmm?   How about not including all the illegals in the program?  How about NOT including seniors who have their children bring them over from the 'old country' and then dump them on Social Security when the children could and SHOULD care for their parents?
